So how’s it going?
At woolworths anchor butter was almost ten bucks today. Here is a helpful tip. When butter is on sale stock up and freeze it. This will get you going until they go back down in price again.
The warehouse has store brand butter that’s normally cheaper or on par with the cheapest Woolworths butter. They don’t seem to use it as a loss leader anymore though, I haven’t seen $5 butter in a long time.
Also good tip on the freezing. We tend to just keep it in the fridge for months without caring about the best before date, not sure how bad that is 🫤.
