Difference: Ours aren’t anime. They’re live action. And only some of them are cute.
(I like the new Mayhem ad where the Mayhem dude is in a mascot suit of himself)
I’m just a weird, furry, pan guy (cis he/him). I also have a big, blue username.
Currently on Earth for 8 years ensuring steps to unite humanity and usher us into the galactic civilization just so I can see my boyfriend again.

Have a chihuahua mix named Loki, who is anything but a trickster.
Have a husky named Kona, who is anything but lady-like (Kona means lady in Hawaiian).
I can finish 10 nugs from anywhere but McDonald’s. Something about McDonald’s food makes me feel so much more full on so much less food, and not in a good way.
Because people seem to lap that garbage up enough for it to be profitable to make barely functionable shit, as cheaply as possible.
I play for the alien carnage. My factory grows so more xenos may die. If it didn’t have the aliens, I would probably get bored, too. Right around the time you need the 3rd tier research packs, it gets slow as shit with nothing else going on.
5 times larger than the base game
It’s a proper expansion
That’s above and beyond a proper expansion. That sounds legendary. 🤩
IMI, Titan Quest was the Diablo slayer before Torchlight came and slayed it again.
Yeah, and? That doesn’t stop the individual stores from already calculating the taxes you’re going to pay at that location and putting that price on the labels on their own shelves.
Space Age? Whaaaat?
Edit: Oof… The dlc is the same price as the base game. :/
I’d ask if it’s worth it, but I can’t trust the Cracktorio fiends to be objective.
I just wished it was mandated to list prices to include all the taxes along with it. Whether it says $19.99 or $20 still isn’t the actual price.
Recently had the worst of this. Was craving chocolate milk, find a nice size bottle of it for $3. Get to register. $6.63 total price because the glass bottle had over a $3 deposit.
Don’t regular game journalists also get paid dogshit?
Can’t even get 100% using a drawing tablet and a protractor.
I got super prepared for Oblivion to be as complex and difficult as Morrowind and was severely disappointed by it even at launch. Skyrim was slightly better than Oblivion in terms of mechanical complexity (dual wielding, how magic works, the forts, etc), but also even more streamlined in others (like how skills and leveling work).
I’ve played the absolute shit out of all 3 (as well as FO3, NV and 4) though. There is just some inexplicable draw to them. And it’s that very thing that Starfield lacks that had me rush the MQ and just stop playing once it was over.
“We didn’t expect to sell any, but we are pleasantly surprised to see it has sold at least 2 units.”
It could be a Jager bomb in a wine glass. The color looks about the same.
As more of an outside observer here:
When I was still using Reddit, it looked like most people in that community were just running personal home media servers using basic as fuck raspberry pi setups or just old hardware that could handle it, like maybe a modded Xbox or something.
Here on Lemmy, it looks more like you’re all actual networking specialists hosting damn near everything from home automation to business-level server systems for your home business. You guys are serious; Reddit isn’t. Respect.
What do you need dislikes on YT for? You can’t tell a shitty video by it’s shitty title and shitty thumbnail?
It’s gonna take twice as long as Starfield all to contain the same jank in an even larger, more barren, world where nothing is interesting and you’re just going through the motions because that’s what Todd Howard thinks games are.
Pfft… Meme maker didn’t even include The General.
