I remember when Nintendo took the same approach with The Legend Zelda Tri Force Heroes game… I don’t think it worked out that great…
Lots of options already shared it so I am just gonna say that I find easier to play older games that I have already played/beaten.
Personal examples:
Super Mario 64 and Toy Story 2.
The huge benefit of older games is that they are just quick and play, no updates no DLCs just fire it up and play, if emulated you even got save states and all those thingys.
This is a dangerous thing to me though, as it discourages me to try out new games, yeah, but after a tiring day I find myself more comfortable getting into these kinds of games than other options.
Funny that you mentioned Vampire Survivors as I was planning to get it for Android haha.
My only complain about Balatro and being available in multiple media is that (AFAIK) the progress doesn’t sync, does it?
If I were to buy it I’d get it for mobile.
Yeah I am like, what year is it?
I just finished Ace Attorney Investigations II and I am at that stage confused for where to go now after finishing a game (is not that I do not have a backlog lol).
Anyway, I continued Pokémon Omega Ruby yesterday but I have that one, TWEWY, BOTW (both for Switch) and Chrono Trigger for DS sitting in the middle of a playthrough and I don’t know where to go now.
I just went to Pokémon because I never finished the GBA version and it is the easiest IMO, TWEWY I beat the DS version multiple times and I consider that one better than the Switch one (gameplay wise) maybe that is why it hasn’t caught up my attention so much.
BOTW is MASSIVE! And the joycon drift demotivates me lol And Chrono Trigger… I am pretty sure I am about to finish the 1st ending… But I am kinda lost in the plot lol.
Still? Is it powerful enough to run the latest games without tweaking?
Not criticizing, I genuinely want one, but tech advances quickly and it seems everyone is jumping to the PC handheld market (and I am glad for it).
