If you’ve ever spent money on a movie theatre ticket, you value your time at $7-$20 dollars an hour. This… is thousands of hours of entertainment.
I generally sleep during the day, skips the useless meetings. Then I go to the office around 8pm and crank out profit for my corporate overlords. They (mostly) understand it’s better for them this way, and I meet all the expectations of office attendance and social gatherings.

My company switched from webex to teams with no transition time, the first 10 minutes of most meetings for a few weeks was “Am I audible?”, “I’m not sure how to share my screen”, “I started recording, you’ll have to unmute yourself again.”
It was agony, but it wasn’t due to anyone’s incompetence.
